New colour additions to the DALSA range of Genie GigE Vision cameras are now available from STEMMER IMAGING. The new Genie HC series delivers exceptional image quality at high speeds. The Genie HC640, HC1024 and HC1400 capture image data at impressive speeds of up to 300 fps in VGA resolution or 64 fps at 1400 x 1024 resolution, and are available at a much more favourable price point than a CCD camera with equivalent image quality.

The Genie?HC series utilises DALSA’s proprietary colour sensor technology to provide excellent image quality and high speed operation with uncompromised signal-to-noise ratio. By using the DALSA Sapera LT platform to carry out colour decoding on either the host PC’s CPU or Graphics Processing Unit, the outstanding frame rate capabilities of the sensor can be achieved at the maximum Gigabit bandwidth.

Genie?HC cameras are supplied with DALSA’s field proven Sapera™ Essential software featuring CamExpert. CamExpert allows easy camera setup and configuration and Sapera Essential offers a versatile imaging library as well as specific tools for simple and advanced machine vision applications.
