Machine vision is a dynamic field: STEMMER IMAGING and our suppliers are the world´s leading manufacturers for machine vision components and solutions, introducing many brand new developments several times a year.
STEMMER IMAGING is member of the future oriented PRIMEPULSE group. It’s worth looking on the new website www.primepulse.de, what PRIMEPULSE stands for and who is also part of the strong network of companies. The English version is soon to come.
Sophisticated technology for the pharmaceutical industry and the construction of machines in this sector are among the core competences of Harro Höfliger. Machine vision systems ensure reliable quality inspections at several points in a new plant for the packaging of painkillers.
For the third time, experts and users got together in five countries on our ‘Machine Vision Technology Forum’ European tour 2017”. The STEMMER IMAGING team went on tour through Germany, France, the Netherlands, UK and Sweden in October and November 2017, accompanied by more than 35 manufacturers following the machine vision showcases.
Smart Vision Lights (SVL) releases a number of high power LED light models with built-in Multi-Drive™ technology. This novel feature relieves users from deploying an additional lighting controller, instead, allowing operation directly from a camera’s strobe output line.
Engineers from STEMMER IMAGING were on hand to witness Bloodhound SSC in trial runs held at Cornwall Airport, Newquay. The jet and rocket powered car has made significant progress towards its goal of achieving a speed of 1000 mph and a new world land speed record. It reached a speed of 210 mph during one of the trials.
The new Teledyne DALSA Piranha4 Polarization line scan camera represents a breakthrough in machine vision by revealing non-visible properties of materials that cannot be detected with conventional imaging. With three independent polarisation detection channels, this innovative camera enables high-speed, real-time detection of birefringence, stress, surface roughness, film thickness, and other physical properties.
As of November 1, FiberOptic AG in Spreitenbach (Switzerland) has taken over the entire production of the Volpi standard products for machine vision. This applies to light sources, fibre optic systems as well as to LED illumination solutions. STEMMER IMAGING now has responsiblity for the worldwide distribution of the new FiberOptic portfolio and will continue to provideits customers with the usual reliable service – from consulting and order processing to delivery.
For decades, Swiss company Hunkeler has set standards for the paper processing industry. With Mitsubishi Electric´s Line Scan Bars and STEMMER IMAGING as their machine vision partner, Hunkeler has now given a preview of future web inspection systems, integrated into their DP8 Dynamic Perforator.
Dome light units offer excellent results in a variety of machine vision tasks. However, due to their design they have not been suitable in applications where space is at a premium. With the launch of the LFX3 series, CCS has responded to these demands by combining the qualities of dome lights with a new flat design.
